The following are the General Guidelines and Participation Requirements for the Dreaming in Ink Orphans Writing Group.
We are open to writers of all skill levels. Whether you are already a best-selling author, or are just beginning your writing career - you are welcome here.
Participation is free. We will never charge writers a fee to join or to remain.
There is no mandatory number of crits per month that you must complete in order to remain a member.
No points will be required to post your work, and no points will be given for any crits completed.
You do not need to crit everyone. You do not even need to crit those who crit you. But you DO need to crit.
The critique section of the Forum is password protected. Once your membership has been approved and acknowledged, contact the Admin and let her know which category (shorts or novels) you require boards for and she will create them and give you the password to access them.
If, for any reason, you find you no longer have to the time to participate let the Admin know and she will either delete your membership, or place you on temporary LOA until you feel you can return.
All opinions are welcome, but those opinions must be expressed in a respectful way. Flaming of another member will not be tolerated under any circumstances and anyone who engages in such behavior will be banned.
